Teledyne e2v proudly hosted for the first time an event that brought over 50 SMEs and more than 90 delegates together including national and local stakeholders such as Essex County Council, Invest Essex, University of Essex, Innovate UK and SPRINT (SPace Research and Innovation Network for Technology).
Asked by the UKspace Trade Association SME Forum to host the event this year at Teledyne e2v’s Chelmsford facility, the company was extremely pleased to run the event.
138 individual pre-arranged meetings took place to support the access to supply chain opportunities as well as develop discussion on areas of collaboration with Teledyne. The three networking sessions also ensured every delegate was able to meet each other.
No company visit would be complete without company tours with eight tours conducted around the 22-acre site.
Dr Miles Adcock, President Space Imaging at Teledyne e2v said: “The event has been a great success, allowing Teledyne e2v to highlight our commitment to the UK Space Industry. The quality of conversations shows how integral the SME’s across the UK are to the growth of the industry. Thank you to everyone that attended”.
