This device is based on the CCD42 and CCD44 family of scientific CCD Sensors. The CCD203 has been designed to provide a large image area for demanding astronomical and other scientific imaging applications. The back-illuminated spectral response combined with very low read-out noise give exceptional sensitivity. The device has been designed for applications such as low-noise spectroscopy and broadband photometric imaging.
